Everyone can help:
- If you saw a homeless animal on the street, take a photo and post it in zoo groups on social media. networks - perhaps the animal is lost and the owner will find it. If not, maybe there will be people who can take the animal for themselves or, at least, will feed it.
- Make a car payment to a charity fund or help the city's permanent volunteers with money, food, medicine or walking animals.
- Provide "self-help". Often, shelters and volunteers are looking for drivers to help take tailed dogs to the veterinary clinic, to the shelter or to their new owners.
- Support the WWF program — Catch, Sterilize, Vaccinate and Release. If you notice a stray dog, report it to local shelters, specialized charities or volunteers. If you are able to take the animal to be sterilized yourself and take it with you during the treatment, do it.
- Shelters are unable to accommodate all animals. So while the volunteers are looking for new owners, you can take a four-legged friend with you for a temporary respite.
- Take unwanted items to a shelter. Warm clothes, furniture, pillows, toys, buckets, bowls - in winter, shelter residents will be happy even with your old blanket from the attic. Also, organizations are constantly in need of building materials so that volunteers have something to insulate their enclosures.
