On October 1, 2017, a concert of the Ukrainian romance "Laughing and Crying Nightingales" was held in the House by an officer of the city of Kyiv. The Ukrainian song conquered the hearts of the teachers who came to the concert dedicated to the teacher's day. The atmosphere in the hall resembled a cradle rocked by Mother Ukraine with her strong and loving hand. We were delighted with their talent at the concert: Honored People's Artists Alla Kudlai, Vasyl Zinkevich, brothers Dmytro and Nazarii Yaremchuk, as well as talented artist Yaroslav Burlachuk.
Since our International Charitable Foundation "Archangel of Light" acted as co-organizers of this concert, we felt all the fullness and joy and responsibility for this event.
We joined this project, as it is very consonant with our work directly. We have been thinking for a long time about what needs to be done so that children after boarding schools, children with disabilities can live and work normally and fully in our society. After all, when we organized many entertainment events for them, we noticed that many of the children simply do not see their future. The light in their eyes went out when we started to develop topics about the future, about possible professions. This is a delicate and sometimes even unpleasant topic for them. As for children with physical disabilities, this is simply an extremely unpleasant topic.
