Dear friends!
On November 15, 2018, we and our team of volunteers visited children in the Kyiv Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children in the village of Kopylov, Kyiv region.
This time there was an unusual meeting: my children and I were learning how to take care of our pet. Yes, yes, exactly about the pet. But the pupils were not simple, but ... stone. The foster toy was specially developed so that children learn to give love, warmth and care to their ward. Pupils played this role. Each pebble had its own house-box, hay on which it sleeps, a cap tied by hand.
Each child drew a face of their pet in the mood that was given to him. Children gave names to their wards. They warmed their hands so that their souls were filled with the warmth of a living heart. We practically spiritualized the matter of nature.
This process was so interesting and exciting that we even forgot about time. You would just look at how children painted them!!! And how they compared their pebbles with their sisters and brothers. One girl, Angelinka, said that this pebble was her brother David. That's what she wrote on the box-house. It was touching to watch the creation process!
We also sang along. Our favorite Oksana Vesna with a special microphone, she sang favorite and recognizable songs with the children. Not only the smallest children were involved in this process, but also the older ones were not indifferent to such a game.
The miracle toy has become familiar to every child in its own way.
